Cosmetic Dentist in Springfield, MO

Andrew A. Johns, DDS

Dr. Johns joined our practice in the summer of 2004. Previously Dr. Johns practiced dentistry in Kansas City. He obtained his DDS from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from University of Kansas.

Dr. Johns is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and the Springfield Dental Society. For the last 5 years, he has been certified by Align Technology to perform Invisalign on his patients, which allows him to straighten their teeth with clear aligners instead of using metal braces.

Dr. Johns met his wife, a Springfield native, in Kansas City before he began dental school. After they both completed graduate school, the couple moved to Springfield. Dr. Johns enjoys spending time with his family and three dogs, cheering on the Jayhawks, playing sports (especially golf), and spending time with friends.

Thomas J. Meyer, DDS
 

Dr. Meyer attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and received his DDS degree in 1984. His undergraduate studies were done at Southwest Missouri State University where he received his BS degree in 1979.

Dr. Meyer has been involved with his professional organization in the past and is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and the Springfield Dental Society. He has served as the state chairman of the Missouri Dental Political Action Committee, Vice-President of the Missouri Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association House of Delegates, Missouri Dental Association Council on Membership Services, President of the Springfield Dental Society in 1993-1994, and received the Missouri Dental Associations' Outstanding Young Dental Leader Award in 1994.

Dr. Meyer has been in Springfield most of his life, where he and his family have enjoyed living. His wife Susan is a partner in a local business, one of his daughter's works here in town and the other is following her father's footsteps and starting Dental School at UMKC in August 2010. They all enjoy spending time at the lake during the summer.

Lori A. Smith, CDA

Lori began her career as a Dental Assistant in 1982. She graduated from Pioneer Area Vocational School with an Associates Degree in Dental Assisting/Office Management.

Lori worked as Operations Manager for Patterson Dental Supply for 8 years. In her spare time Lori enjoys reading, cooking, going to the lake and golfing with her husband Steve & walking her 2 dogs. Lori has worked for Dr. Meyer and Dr. Johns for 6 years, where she started as Chairside Assistant for Dr. Johns and now serves the office as Office Manager.

Amber D. Greek, RDH

Amber began her dental career in 1994 as a chairside Dental Assistant. She graduated from MSSU in Joplin, MO with a degree in Dental Hygiene, May of 2002. Amber has worked for this wonderful office since August of 2002. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 15 years and her adorable son Simon who was born in December of 2008.

Ashley Compton, RDH

Ashley has been a hygienist in this office for 19 years. She graduated MSSC in 1991. She has been happily married to her husband JP for 18 years and has a wonderful 7 year old son, Zane. Her hobbies are outdoor activities with her son Zane, spending time with the whole family, gardening and being outdoors.

Debbie Morgan, Expanded Function Assistant

Debbie has been in the Dentistry field since 1973. She has been with Dr. Meyer since March of 1993. She has been married to her husband Mark for 31 years. She is blessed with 2 children, Emily 30 years old that followed her mothers' footsteps and has been a dental assistant for 11 years, and Jake 26 years old he works in manufacturing. She is expecting her first grandchild in September 2010.

Jean Lile, Expanded Function Assistant

Jean graduated from Graff VO Tech (OTC) in 1978, and has been in dentistry for over 30 years. She started her career with Dr. James Claxton and worked for him for 17 years. When he retired Dr. Meyer took over his practice and she has been working with him for the past 15 years.

Jean has been happily married to Roger Lile since 1982 and will be celebrating their 28th Wedding Anniversary this year! She has 2 children, son Stephen, 26 years old and he works for UPS, and daughter Amanda, 22 years old and she just graduated at Kansas State University. Jean just became a first time grandmother to Morgan in August 2010.

Gabrielle Crumply, RDH
Gabby graduated from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO in 1997. She has been married to her husband, Kary, for 10 years. They now have 2 wonderful boys, Will (2) and Wade (3 months). In her extra time she enjoys taking her boys to Silver Dollar City, fishing, playing ball, swimming, and riding horses.
